ARPC Welcomes Junior Research Economist, Dr. Ming Wang
The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at NDSU is pleased to welcome Dr. Ming Wang as a Junior Research Economist. Dr. Wang specializes in agri-environmental conservation policies, climate change, and international trade.
She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University. Her research evaluates the economic impacts of agri-environmental programs across different spatial scales, including farm level decision-making on climate smart practices in response to conservation incentives and market conditions, regional employment trade-offs between land retirement and working lands programs, and the global land use and emission leakage effects of U.S. conservation policies.
“I’m excited to join ARPC and support data-driven policies that promote environmental sustainability and rural resilience,” said Wang.
Dr. Wang brings a fresh perspective to the ARPC team, expanding our capacity to deliver interdisciplinary, policy-relevant research on agricultural risk and sustainability.
