ARPC Welcomes Junior Research Economist, Dr. Rwit Chakravorty
The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at NDSU is pleased to welcome Dr. Rwit Chakravorty as a Junior Research Economist. Dr. Chakravorty’s work focuses on agricultural technology adoption and climate adaptation strategies, with particular emphasis on how drainage infrastructure investments can enhance farm productivity and resilience. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University and brings strong technical expertise in econometrics, geospatial analysis, and survey data interpretation. His research identifies both adaptation strategies and barriers to adoption in the face of agricultural risk and environmental change, offering valuable insights for policymakers.
“I’m excited to contribute to ARPC’s mission of advancing research that supports resilient agriculture and informed policy,” said Chakravorty.
We’re excited to have Dr. Chakravorty join the team and look forward to the impact his work will have on our research and outreach efforts.
