Welcome Dr. Dylan Turner, Senior Research Economist at ARPC

The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at NDSU is pleased to welcome Dr. Dylan Turner as a Senior Research Economist. Dr. Turner’s work focuses on agricultural risk management, insurance markets, and how producers make decisions under uncertainty.

Before joining ARPC, he served as a Research Economist at the USDA Economic Research Service, where he conducted in-depth analysis of federal risk management programs and contributed to key national reports on crop insurance and farm policy. He also develops open-source software tools that make agricultural data more accessible and actionable for researchers and policymakers.

"I’m excited to join a center that’s addressing critical issues with direct and immediate policy implications," Turner said. "ARPC’s work is clearly relevant to producers, and I’m glad that I get to be part of it."

Dr. Turner’s unique combination of policy insight and technical skill makes him a valuable addition to the ARPC team, and we’re glad to have him on board.
