ARPC Launches Interactive Dashboard for Agricultural Risk Management

August 22, 2025 — Fargo, ND — The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at North Dakota State University has officially launched the ARPC Dashboard, a new platform that allows for interactive visualizations of datasets related to agricultural risk management.

While all of this data is publicly available, accessing and interpreting it can be time-consuming. The ARPC Dashboard significantly streamlines access to this data by enabling users to create presentation-ready graphs and maps through an intuitive and simple graphical interface.

“The ARPC Dashboard is designed to make agricultural risk data more accessible for researchers, policymakers, and producers,” said Dylan Turner, Senior Research Economist at ARPC. “By simplifying how information is accessed and visualized, we are helping stakeholders better understand and act on critical risk management issues.”

Currently, the Dashboard provides access to some of the most requested crop insurance information, including indemnities by cause of loss and participation measures by crop type, practice, and unit structure. It also includes county-level data on payments from counter-cyclical commodity support programs (ARC and PLC), ad-hoc assistance programs, and standing livestock disaster assistance programs. In addition, data on base acres by county and crop, which factor into many farm programs, are available.

The ARPC Dashboard is now live and accessible through the ARPC website.
