ARPC Welcomes Dr. Francis Tsiboe as Senior Research Economist and Program Leader
The Agricultural Risk Policy Center (ARPC) at NDSU is thrilled to welcome Dr. Francis Tsiboe to our team as Senior Research Economist and Program Leader. With over a decade of experience in agricultural policy, risk management, and development economics, Dr. Tsiboe brings a wealth of expertise to advance our mission of providing data-driven insights to policymakers and producers.
Prior to joining ARPC, Dr. Tsiboe served as a Research Agricultural Economist at USDA’s Economic Research Service, where he contributed to national reports on the United States form safety net which includes the Federal Crop Insurance program. He has published extensively on the economic implications of risk mitigation tools and is known for his rigorous empirical approach using large-scale datasets.
"I'm passionate about helping policymakers and producers make better decisions through data-informed research," said Dr. Tsiboe. "Joining ARPC offers a unique opportunity to support agriculture at both the local and national levels."
